The forest officials have their rules and regulations set for the safety of the visitor.There are five zones of Corbett National park - Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela and Durgadevi. The population of tigers and the wildlife is spread all over equally. Computerised automated systems ensure that every visitor gets a chance to experience the fullest of the safari ride.
Advance Jim Corbett Safari Booking Procedure:
- The full name, age, sex of each visitor as printed the same on the identity cards to be provided along with the confirmatory amount for Jim Corbett national park safari booking
- Preferred traveling dates and Safari Timings
- Advance Safari entry fee
- Specific ID card number of the ID proof that you are holding which might be voter ID, Aaadhar No., Driving Licence No., etc.
- If a permit is booked through the electronic source, it is not refundable.
- Carry with yourself the same ID card which you used during the booking
- Intimidate us for at least 30 days in advance.
- Foreign tourist can book for about 90 days in advanced
- The passport details are mandatory for making the reservation of Foreign tourists
- Zone will be allowed as per availability, your safari will be conducted in any one Zone
- Dhikala Canter Safari only operates from 15th Nov to 15th June of every year. It is closed for the remaining time due to the rainy season..
Information To Be Kept In Mind For Corbett Safari Booking
- Tourists are requested to obtain the entry pass that was being issued during online booking for Jim Corbett safari.
- The entry permit is provisional and can be canceled without any prior intimation.
- The Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve is supreme authority and his decision will be final as all is being governed under him.
- The entry permit is strictly not transferable.
- The official registered guides can only join the excursion. Do not change them for mutual convenience.
- After Sunset, entry to National Park is strictly prohibited.
- On Saturday and Sunday price may be high.
- Dhikala tourist Zone is not permitted for the tourist who did not stay in the forest lodge.
- Getting down from the vehicle while you do the jeep safari is strictly prohibited.
- No pets will be allowed inside the CTR so, avoid carrying them.
- All visitors are expected to act responsibly following all the rules and regulations as given above. Do the needful with the cooperation.
Entry Formalities
The Corbett National Park is one of its kind restricted area. It is highly being abode by all the rules and regulations which the tourist need to follow for the safe and secure visit. It will of mutual convenience as the safety of the tourists is our topmost priority. You need to take the approval of officials to visit the core areas of the target locale.
There are two sets of authority permits that are issued by the government for the tourists going to Corbett Safari Zone. First is the day visit Permit and the second is the night stay permit issued by the government for the forest rest houses. Day visit permit is required to visit the Park in the daytime with a certain stipulated limit. Indian national tourist as well as foreign tourists, both are required to keep the day pass for going to any Area of Jim Corbett. The second is the night stay permit. This permit is important to ensure your accommodation at the Forest Lodge. Issue by the government authorized officials, this is something which will serve as a guarantee of stay. The minimum it can be booked is for 1 Night and the maximum it can be booked up till 3 Nights.
